Los Angeles man killed in Arroyo Seco motorcycle crash

On behalf of Law Offices of Elia J. Castranova posted in truck accidents on Saturday, February 9, 2013

As professional drivers, we expect that truck drivers will follow the rules of the road, driving safely and avoiding situations that could cause an accident. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen and truck drivers will be just as dangerous as other motorists on the road. In this story, a man died in a motorcycle accident precipitated by a truck illegally traveling on the Arroyo Seco Parkway in Los Angeles. The victim was ejected from his motorcycle when he collided with a semitrailer truck and crashed into an off-ramp.

The accident occurred early in the morning near the Avenue 43 exit. The 59-year-old motorcycle driver was riding on the 110. According to police, he was cut off by an 18-wheeler, which caused him to crash. He was declared dead after being transported to a local hospital.
