More companies facing consequences for distracted driving crashes

When people are talking on a cellphone and their distraction causes a car accident, they can be held liable for their actions. If, however, they are on a company-issued cellphone and are on a work call at the time, can their employer be held liable too?

Absolutely, and it’s happening more and more in California and all over the country. If an employer knows that an employee is exhibiting a dangerous behavior such as distracted driving, juries will not look at the situation kindly.
