When people transport others in a vehicle, they are charged with driving safely and making sure those passengers’ lives are not put at risk. Speeding, in particular, is a dangerous practice that can lead to serious and fatal accidents.

A horrific crash early this morning in Paramount illustrates that point. Police say the driver of a Chevy Tahoe was speeding when the vehicle hit several objects, rolled over and burst into flames. Of the six people in the vehicle, five were ejected. Three of them were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were taken to a local hospital in serious condition, reports the Los Angeles County fire dispatch supervisor.
