Teen driving laws are getting more restrictive

The next time your teenage child asks to drive to a movie with a friend, you’d better check graduated licensing laws first. Teen driving isn’t what it used to be. Since such laws have proven effective at reducing fatal crashes involving teenagers, many of them are becoming even more restrictive.
While that may be an annoyance to many teens, it’s a necessary step, according to safety advocates. They can point to massive amounts of evidence that show such laws really do work.
